PROTECT BALTIC Third Annual meeting
The project's third annual meeting with partners took place in Helsinki from 2-4 September 2025.
The event brought together partners for focused project updates and collaborative planning. Participants reviewed progress on deliverables, administration, communications, and survey work, ensuring alignment across the project’s core areas.
Work package sessions provided space to refine planning and share content updates across multiple themes, from governance and management to restoration, monitoring, and outreach.
The gathering closed with dedicated inter-work package meetings to coordinate next steps and strengthen cooperation.
A special highlight was the presentation from Jimin Hong on COBSEA and the East Asian Seas Regional Collaborative Network of MPAs, which underscored the importance of connecting regional efforts and fostering knowledge exchange beyond the Baltic Sea.
